Help with Background design

I've been working on this image for the past two weeks and now that the characters are near enough finished. I am going to do the background. But I've hit a little snag! I know that I want to do some curtains in the background but it it needs something else!

Does anyone have any idea's????????? *puppy dog eye's*

hard to say? add the curtains and then we can go from there...adding more might be to much?

The bottom right corner seems to be an area of "white space" You could do something like a TV or a table with a fish bowl! Other than that a nice window with curtains would be a good fit the background...maybe some pictures or other wall art?

ok I was thinking of adding a painting...... Which is a piece of art I started working.

I don't know how many people have seen Higashi no Eden/Eden of the East... but my friends and I in IRC were joking around and I said
