Anime Vector is soon to turn two years old. Yet we seem to be low of activity. So I'm asking you, the members if there is anything that you would really like to so AV. This forums is here for you, the members, so please feel free to suggest anything that you would like to see here.

I really would hate for AV to be closed down due to activity issues. As for me, this site is the only place (other than Deviant although I don't get much feedback) where my work gets viewed properly and I've grown so much since this site was started. I do hope that you all feel the same, so your input is greatly appreciated.

I can't really think of feedback, I think this site has everything, particularly since there is a resource section in the works. minus the activity of course (me being guilty of that ^__^;;).

Is it just a busy time for everyone? Or maybe we just need an recruitment drive, new members might bring fresh ideas or something.

I'm basically on the same page with gwen on this subject. This site is well maintained and has a lot to offer, the only problem I see is the member activity...though I guess I'm in no place to be commenting on that matter. *cough*cough*

The question is how to get the site active, what point is there in having a site no one uses.

Don't know how to get current members active, guess it's just a bad time for everyone. All I can think of is that maybe we need new active members..and keeping them active.

Comments in the gallery are good, maybe we should have a team of members who volunteer to give feedback on peoples work? We don't seem to have much atm

Graphics exhibitions - showcasing the best works from the month (6 months, year or whatever) or even themes (christmas themes, holidays, summer etc etc)

Members of the month - both in graphics and active members on the board

Classing- Class people based on the level that they are at (beginner, moderate, pro etc). I actually don't like this idea much, but I'll put it up there to see what you guys think

I don't know, may think of more. I really think that we have a lot of great stuff already to offer, the main thing is is getting current members active :S

I like the idea of classing member's. It then gives people more goals to work towards and helps everyone to improve.

I think i brought this up before, that this site is based on gfx so we shouldn't really expect activity in it. What should happen is make the forum take a backseat and push the gallery to the fore front. Kill off multiple sections we don't need in the forums.

Teams = fail, people get all weird when they "have" to do something and burn out. If you like/hate an image comment and rate it. There should have to be a team that "has" to comment on images.

Where should I showcase these images? Should we create a thread for it? How do we determine the "best works" if no one is rating the images?

I like showcasing a member but feel if it is just based on activity then it will the same 2 people each month, other ideas on how we can do this?

I hate classing people, no one is inferior just because they don't have the same skills and I don't want to give more room to elitism.

Each time I try this we get very few entries if any. I can try again if people will offer up ideas on what contests they are actually interested in.

AV is not just a GFX site, we were just a forum for 6-8 months before I ever finished the gallery. I chose anime VECTOR because vectors are a up and coming thing that is continuing to become more popular. Since I wanted GFX aspects to the site and to draw attention it just fit. We have a full spectrum on the forums and a blog system, plus most of the zenny is geared to users posting and downloading images, I just offer a little extra for those who produce gallery content as it takes a lot of time and skill to do it. If we are just a gallery site then I should remove the forums altogether but I don't like that idea or feel we are just a picture host.

Do we get zenny for commenting on the gallery? and could it be based on word count/for rating? Might encourage people in the gallery a bit more.

I think the resource section might help a bit too with activity.

Really, the ideas, I thought of are pointless without active members. All I can think of is trying to be more ative myself ^___^;;
