Yes comments earn you zenny, likewise if someone diggs your image you get zenny...there are a lot of things about the zenny system I don't talk about because I don't want it abused just some someone can download a image.

Throwing out some random ideas:

A collaboration request section(?)
A section where members can request others to work in collaboration. For example one member does a sketch and asks another member to outline and/or color it.(just to get inspiration of others flowing or just for the fact that the person cant color their pics even if their life depended on it) Another would be a fanfic writer to request an illustration to go along with their writing. so-on, so-on...*blah*

I just think that this might get member interaction and GFX activity to go up.

I was also going to suggest and see if we could get one of those "Paint" like programs that records the brush strokes, etc of the drawing on the forum so that they can be used for tutorials, source of inspiration. I had one in mind called "ShiPainter" (which I've used time to time) but unfortunately I cant find the homepage that offered it as apparently a new site took the web address.

A collaboration request section seems like a good idea to me. I think we are able to upload PSD files to attachments (not completely sure on that though). So that would help the section, as well as being able to show a process of how the piece was made. I don't see anyway on how it couldn't work.

Although I've noticed that no one has used the render, vector requests threads recently. It would be great to see those used but maybe with the collaboration section, they might be of some use.

Personally, I would love to see the GFX section really active. I know on sites like deviant art, you might be lucky to get a few comments back. but on a site like this, it would be great to see more of support given. (I think I'm rambling too much).

Another random idea:

PSP wallpaper section? Though honestly I guess the sig section kinda covers this in a way as the dimensions of the PSP wallpaper are well within AV's sig limit. If I were to branch off from that than I'd suggest a PSP theme section, you can pick up a free program online to convert the images for the wallpaper and icons into a file for the PSP. Though if we did this I guess we'd need to make this a thread and the theme files would have to be attached onto the post after using putting them into a zip or rar file.

We have the Graphics Workshop sub-forum which can be used to do collab work, requests or just to get feedback on your in progress stuff. As far as the PSP wallpapers if there is enough demand then sure, but it is kind of like cellphone wallpapers...not many people make or use them (anime related at least).

As far as the "ShiPainter" I have found a version of it and will play with it some. I have never used it so my main goal is to see how easy it is to use and how easy it is to install on the boards somewhere.
